Welcome Charlotte!

Hello everyone!
I’m Charlotte Montgomery and I’m really pleased to have joined the Helping Hands Psychology team as the new Clinical Psychologist leading the service at Serennu Children’s Centre. I’ve just moved over to Bristol from Norfolk, where I previously worked as the Clinical Lead for a therapeutic school provision. Before that I worked as a Clinical Psychologist based within a Child Development Team in Suffolk, which was part of the Integrated Community Paediatric Services. I’ll now be based at Serennu Children’s Centre, working three days a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays) within my primary role for the Helping Hands Psychology Service, as well as one day a week (Wednesday) for a team developing a Whole School Approach to Emotional Wellbeing for young people. The Helping Hands Psychology Service currently offers support to parents, carers, and siblings of children who access services or support at Serennu. As part of my early work here, I am hoping to review the support offer from Helping Hands and will be emailing around shortly with invitations to join me for feedback sessions or focus groups. Moving forward, I’m really keen to think about service development in a collaborative way and I will be delighted to hear directly from you. I will also be attending the Information Event at Serennu on the 27th November 2019 and will look forward to meeting some of you then. In the meantime, if you would like to get in touch or would like to hear more about the services currently available and how to self-refer, please feel free to email or telephone: charlotte.montgomery@wales.nhs.uk, 01633 748042.
