Dog Sledding in Norway

Into the Arctic Circle, sledding over 200 kilometres from our base camp into the wilds of the most northern European country of Norway: this event will prove the ultimate challenge for many participants. Each participant will have their own team of huskies

Dog Sledding in Norway

An odyssey of ice; the teamwork between human and dog is of key importance. Participants will need to go right back to basics. The nature of the event means that it is run with a relatively small number of participants (13 maximum). Each participant will have his/her own sled, pulled by 4-6 huskies. An expedition leader, supported by an experienced expedition doctor and a local guide, will head up the expedition.

We have chosen Northern Norway as the location for our charity dog sled expeditions in order to attain a greater sense of wilderness, but we can provide all services in northern Sweden as well.

All our charity challenges are accompanied by some of the most experienced Arctic travellers and cold weather trained medics in the business and operate in both Swedish and Norwegian Lapland. The pristine beauty of Lapland and the alienness of this snowbound environment is truly something to behold- the sense of space and freedom you get from standing outside of your cabin watching the majestic display of the northern lights is quite unique.
