Clothes Swap Event
The Sparkle Appeal is running a clothes swap where pre-loved items can find new homes with enthusiastic owners who will cherish them. So next time you think about throwing out or giving away your unwanted clothes then think again and bring them along to the Sparkle Appeal's charity clothes swap event at the Hilton Hotel in Newport on the 2nd October 2010.
Why Swap when you can shop?
Clothes swapping gives you the opportunity to give away the clothes that you don’t want and come away with some pre-loved clothes giving you a whole new wardrobe for not even a tenth of the price! So if it's simply to build up your wardrobe or slim it down then come to us on 2nd October 2010.
How does it work?
Before the event...
- Each lady or gentleman must donate 5 good quality items of clothing / accessories that are clean and well presented. Ready to be handed on to the next owner.
- Items are to be delivered to the Sparkle Appeal Office prior to the event.
- You can donate more than 5 items and each item donated receives a voucher entitling you to swap that voucher for another piece of clothing.
On the night... 
- Browse the clothes that have been donated (you will have an hour prior to the event opening to browse)
- Choose the items that you would like to take home and exchange them for your voucher.
- There will also be opportunities for you to win raffle prizes on the night.
