After the tremendous success of the first White Collar Boxing event in January 2010, the Sparkle Appeal is now undertaking another.

White Collar Boxing is a form of boxing where men and women in white collar professions (Barristers / Finance Directors / Sales Managers / Office Workers) undergo training to fight in front of colleagues, friends and family but have no previous experience of boxing.
White Collar Boxing first came to prominence in mid-1990s New York when 2 white collar business men decided they wanted to see who would win in a 3 round fight in a boxing ring! Six months later with friends, family and an audience of strangers they undertook 3 rounds and walked away with their pride intact and a boxing match under their belt!
All boxers say that the feeling of standing in a ring just you, your opponent and a referee is one of the most exhilarating feelings you could ever have especially just before the bell sounds for the first round with the adrenaline pounding through your veins, the sound of the cheering crowd ringing in your ears and the first step forward to make your first swing at your opponent…… Do you have the heart and soul needed to take that first step?
White Collar Boxing is your opportunity to feel like a professional sports man or woman, train like the professionals and win like a professional! It will be a refereed bout of 3, two minute rounds where you will be provided with all the correct boxing equipment including head guards, gloves, shorts etc.
This is your chance to show you are a winner just by having the courage to take the first step into the ring!
What do I have to do?
Enter a boxer:

Choose one of your workers who would like to take part in the boxing.

Each boxer is trained for 8 – 10 weeks prior to the event by a boxing professional.

On the night of the boxing the boxer will take part in 3 two minute rounds and will be matched with an opponent of similar stature and ability.

The Sparkle Appeal will provide all boxing equipment such as gloves, heard guards, shorts etc.

There will be a registration fee of £150.00 when entering a boxer.
