Dear Parents and Carers,

In an effort to prioritise the health and well-being of our children, young people and their families within the context of the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) we have made the difficult decision, at this time, to cancel:

  • The Family Fun day scheduled for Sunday 5th April; and
  • The continuing care play club which runs on the first and third Saturday of each Month

These decisions have not been taken lightly and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

At present, all other Sparkle activities, clubs and swimming lessons will continue as normal. We appreciate that you may not wish for your child/young person to attend Sparkle activities and we wish to reassure you that we respect your decision during this unprecedented time. We will ensure that:

  • no family will be penalised in terms of the attendance policy during this time provided you contact the Sparkle office to notify them, in advance,  that your child/young person will not be attending; and
  • families will be reimbursed for any activities which are not rescheduled (provided that Sparkle have been notified in advance of the planned non-attendance)

You may be aware, via a separate email that MediCinema have taken the decision to temporarily suspend screenings with immediate effect.

We would like to reassure families that we are closely monitoring this rapidly changing situation and we will keep you updated regularly.

We would wish to share with you the recommended websites that we are accessing for up to date advice and guidance:

We will be operating a policy whereby all children/young people and families attending Serennu will be required to sanitise their hands on arrival and we respectfully ask that you familiarise yourself with the guidance and refrain from attending the centre if the guidance requires you to self isolate.

If you have any further questions please contact or 01633 748 093.

Kind Regards,

Sparkle Activities Team
