We know that all parents and carers will want to ensure the safety and well-being of their child, and the wider community, at these difficult times.
As you may be aware, the First Minister has highlighted children’s well-being as an essential component of the welsh government guidance.
We can confirm that Sparkle provisions are classed as childcare / specialised education provisions, and as such we will continue to run our leisure activities during the next two weeks.
We fully understand that some parents and carers may not wish their child to attend a Sparkle activity during this period of lockdown, and we can assure you that non-attendance on this basis will have no impact on your child's place in the club, and we would look forward to welcoming them back after the forthcoming lockdown.
Unfortunately, the Medicinema and Swimming Pool will close for the period of the national lockdown.
We will continue to follow our stringent safety procedures and routines in order to minimise any risk of infection. Please can we remind families to inform us if you or a member of your household develop any COVID-19 related symptoms such as; high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste, or if your child or a household member has been asked to self-isolate.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
