Design a Children's Centre Competition

Sparkle is running a ‘Design a Children’s Centre’ competition for children and young people in North Gwent.

We want to know what you think a children’s centre should look like.

What would you like to play with? What rooms and spaces would you want? What pictures on the walls would make you feel happy?

See our template and picture downloads below for lots of ideas of what you could include in your children’s centre, or see if you can come up with some completely new ideas!

You can use anything you want to design your children’s centre, from colouring pencils to cutting and sticking pictures, or you could even design your children’s centre on the computer.  Make sure you ask an adult if you need help.

To enter simply take a picture of your entry and send it to research@sparkleappeal.org by Sunday 11th April 2021 to be entered into the competition. Please include your name, age and which school you attend in the email, and a contact number for a parent or guardian so we can let them know if you win.

Our winners will be split into three categories 4-8 year olds, 9-13 year olds and 14-18 year olds.

Our winners will be chosen in March and one winner from each category will receive an Amazon Fire HD tablet (kids edition).

There's also a £100 Amazon voucher up for grabs for the school from which we receive the most entries!

Good luck!

If you have any questions or would like any more information about our competition please contact Bethan Collins, Research & Developement Officer on 01633 748024 or email research@sparkleappeal.org
