Family Liaison Officer

Our Family Liaison Officers are extremely passionate about promoting the services and support that Sparkle has available. They relate to the difference and the positive impact that the service can have for individuals and families.

Our Family Liaison Officers are here as a first point of contact for all families to offer guidance and provide support and resources. They can also support form filling, such as Disability Living Allowance and Grants.

Our Family Liaison Officers also co-ordinate parent support groups and workshops that run regularly at the centre and also organise family events. The events include fun activities for children and information and support for parents and careres. They offer an opportunity for families to seek information from Health, Local Authority, Education, Sport and Voluntary sectors.

If you have a  child or young person diagnosed or undergoing an assessment for a disability or developmental difficulty and live in Newport, South Torfaen or South Monmouthshire, you can contact our friendly Family Liaison Service by telephoning 01633 748 013 or emailing ABB.FamilyLiasonOfficer@wales.nhs.uk.
