Sparkle Appeal supports Caerphilly and Newport communities thanks to National Lottery funding

Our Activities Development Officer Samantha Edwards has recently qualified as a mental health first aider and trainer licensed instructor after completing her Mental Health First Aid Instructor training.

Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been supported in helping our community to adapt, recover and thrive.

We have recently received a grant from The National Lottery Community Fund that will fund the new Little Stars club in Caerphilly and tackling waiting lists at Serennu Children's Centre.

We successfully applied for £9,920 from The National Lottery Community Fund.

Rebecca McDonald, Serive Manager at Sparkle said: "Sparkle is grateful to the National Lottery for supporting our organisation. Without this money, Sparkle would not be able to continue to provide leisure activities for children and young people with disabilities and developmental difficulties in Gwent. Our waiting lists have been an ongoing struggle for the charity and this money means we can help even more families."
