Vital care, treatment & activities
for children

Caerphilly Children’s Centre opened in 1991. Since then it has provided vital care, treatment and activities for children and young people with disabilities and/or developmental difficulties living in Caerphilly County Borough, as well as support for the wider family.

In November 2020, Sparkle became a charity partner of Caerphilly Children’s Centre, following from the excellent work by Enable as well as Action for Children.

Caerphilly Children’s Centre provides a wide range of high quality medical, therapy and support services to over 1,000 children and young people with disabilities and/or developmental difficulties, and their families. Specialist Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy are delivered from here to children living in Caerphilly Borough.

He came out full of smiles and said he didn’t want to leave!

He absolutely loved it, it’s so nice for him to meet with other children who also have disabilities. This service is absolutely amazing, for my son to feel included as his mobility is poor and he’s usually the odd one out, and is excluded from many activities. Thank you so much to you all at Sparkle for your support.
