"The incredible family liaison officer has given me many an opportunity to offload my worries "

Amelia is 7 and goes to the sibling group there. It’s a group where they have fun and is run through the Helping Hands psychologist service. Through play, Amelia is able to tell them of any worries or upset she has. And me, somedays I struggle. I struggle with how hard some days are. With how things will be in the future and I am the type of person who keeps it to myself. Yet this special place and the incredible family liaison officer has given me many an opportunity to offload my worries or answer any questions I may have. So I am able to be the best version of myself. For my girls.

Waiting Areas

There are two waiting areas within the Children’s Centre. The first waiting area is located on the right hand side opposite reception. There are a selection of toys and sensory equipment and a parent information board, folder and staff picture board. There is a second waiting area at the rear of the building, which also has a selection of toys and sensory equipment and parent information folder. We are also in the process of establishing a ‘Youth Zone’ for young people.

Parking

There is a large car park, used for both staff and patients, located opposite the Children’s Centre. There is a designated entrance and exit to the car park. On busier days there are car park attendants in the car park who will offer help in finding you a space. Nevill Hall Children’s Centre has its very own layby immediately outside the Children’s Centre. This layby is for use by families only who are attending the centre for appointments.

Outside Play Area

We also have a small outside play area located on the right-hand side of the centre. Children can use this play area whilst waiting for their appointment or following their appointment. A member of staff will be more than happy to show the family where this area is located.
