Facilities

Our aim is to continuously upgrade and add to our facilities so ensuring our children and young people have acces to the latest technology, equipment and experiences.

 

Outdoor Play Area

Come along and use our fully accessible play area

The play area is situated at the back of the Serennu Centre and is surrounded by lovely scenery. It features a Multi-use Games Area, fully accessible sensory trail, sensory garden, woodland walk, nature trail, Wendy House and gazebo. There are swings suitable for all ages, an integrated trampoline, and a cycle/wheelchair track running all the way around the grounds. The grounds are open for use 7 days a week, from dawn to dusk.

 

Sensory Room

Enjoy stimulating and fun play

You can book a bespoke 45-minute session where children remain the reponsibility of parents/carers while supported by a Sparkle Leisure Support Worker. Play dates are allowed so why not book with a friend and share the cost of the session!

Rebound

Fully accessible trampoline and bouldering wall

Extends the indoor leisure activities available to Sparkle children and young people. Bounce, momentum, and rhythm from the trampoline to enable hands-off active movement and plenty of fun. reach new heights on the bouldering wall, then play with the interactive lighting and floor graphics. Hoists ensure it is all accessible to every child.

Our Rebound facilities are also available for party hire.
 

Art Room

The art room is the latest addition to our facilities

With access to a wide range of equipment and consumables, art therapy offers the opportunity for self-expression as well as aiding communication if children and young people have trouble expressing their thoughts and feelings verbally.
 

Medicinema

Showing 2D and 3D films every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday

Every Tuesday and Wednesday at 6.00pm and Saturday at 10.30am. The viewings are free to children, young people and their families who are a registered member of our MediCinema Cinema Club. All that is asked is a small donation. 
 

Swimming Pool

Purpose built hydrotherapy pool with hoists

Sparkle uses the pool to run Swimming Lessons and offer Family Swim Sessions for registered members.
 

Cafe

Open to families, visitors and staff through the week

Our cafe offers hot and cold drinks and snacks, and a selection of confectionary, it is open 10am-2.30pm Monday - Friday, and prior to MediCinema screenings for all your favourite movie snacks.
