It’s been another fantastic few months for Team Sparkle, with supporters across South Wales helping us raise vital funds and awareness in so many different ways.
Here, you’ll find details of our upcoming Sparkle Fest, highlights from recent fundraising events, inspiring supporter stories and simple ways you can continue supporting Sparkle throughout the summer.

Sparkle Fest is Coming!
Join us for a fun-filled day out at Sparkle Fest, supporting a fantastic local cause 💜
Explore 30+ amazing stalls and activities, including handmade craft, sweet treats, home décor, cheese and chutneys, jewellery, wellness products, children's items, floristry, Sparkle raffle and merchandise…and much more!
Enjoy bouncy inflatables from R&N Inflatables, face painting and performances from GLD School of Dance
There will be food and drink from Bap House, Rooted Soul, Em's Asian Delights, Chai Delights, ice cream and slushes from King Whippy and drinks from Rodney Parade bar. (cashless bar)
Entry: £2 per adult | Children (under 16 go FREE)
To help avoid delays, we recommend booking your tickets in advance. However tickets can also be purchased on the day.
Cardiff Inflatable 5K
This June saw 26 amazing runners made up of Sparkle team members, parents, families and supporters bounced, climbed, slipped, slid and laughed their way around the Inflatable 5K, all while raising money to support local children and young people with disabilities and developmental difficulties.
We'd like to say a huge congratulations to everyone who took part. You were incredible from start to finish!

To everyone who donated, sponsored, cheered from the sidelines or supported Team Sparkle in any way, thank you. Every pound raised will help us continue providing vital services and opportunities for the families we support.

IHEEM Awards Dinner
Sparkle had the honour of attending the IHEEM Awards Dinner at the Celtic Manor Resort. It was a fantastic evening celebrating excellence, innovation, and leadership in healthcare engineering and facilities management.
Drago Lounge Sky Dive and Lounge Aid
Ashleigh and Eliana from Drago Lounge (Newport) took on an incredible feat when they completed an awe-inspiring sky dive in support of Sparkle. This was part of Drago Lounge's 'Lounge Aid' raising funds for Sparkle all through June.
Throughout LoungeAid Month in June 2026, the incredible team and community at Drago Lounge went above and beyond in support of Sparkle, raising an amazing £2,297! From quiz nights, the Little Loungers Bake Off, bake sales, raffles, limited-edition Sparkle-themed drinks, a pizza party, and so much more, every event brought people together to support Sparkle. We are truly overwhelmed by the dedication, enthusiasm and generosity shown by the entire Drago Lounge team and the wider Drago community.
