In January, a team of 13 individuals from Frontier Medical Group participated in the Chepstow Running Festival on January 28th to kickstart the fundraising year.
At the largest race day in Wales, the Frontier team participated in a variety of events, including 5k, 10k, and half marathons.
The turnout was fantastic, and everyone crossed the finish line. Frontier runner Ewelina Ciesielska was the first lady to finish the 10k race and proudly wore her Sparkle vest!
The team was able to raise over £2,000 for the event through a combination of sponsorships and a bake sale held earlier in the month.
Fundraising Support Officer Tracey Holloway said:
"We are extremely grateful to Frontier for supporting Sparkle by competing in the Chepstow Running Festival in January. Congratulations to all of those who took part.
It has been a quick and easy process helping Frontier set up their fundraiser, which has raised over £2,000 in as little as 5 weeks. The whole team has been so easy to engage with and we look forward to working together again in the future."
This is an amazing achievement and on behalf of the children, young people and families of Sparkle, we extend a big thank you to everyone who participated, and donated to support their fundraising efforts.
A big well done to:
